We have the privalige of being owned by several Weimaraners, longhaired and not. We also own and run Canberra Boarding Kennels on the
Federal Highway, just outside of the ACT.
We are members of Dogs NSW, Dogs ACT, the Weimaraner Clubs of NSW, Victoria, South Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Tracking Club of NSW and Victoria. Also Wendy is an instructor at the ACT Companion Dog Club, and is a committee member of the ACT Gundog Society and Treasurer for the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Society of NSW.
Wendy is an artist who works mainly in clay, and is having a 'break' at present, from the Nation Institute of the Arts (Canberra School of Art, ANU) and is a member of the Canberra Potters Society. Her family (Whypin) has been involved on Miniature Pinschers since 1977, when they obtained their first one from Dora Hay (Haycoss). She has been involved with the breed ever since, although being away from the ring for a long time due to non-doggy family commitments.
Kim is a classically trained flautist, working as a Primary School teacher. She has only been involved in the dog world for a couple of years, mainly as a very good dog holder, crate mover and very occasional exhibitor, and is not sure that she understands it all yet!
Beautiful photo of Zed by Barbara Kilworth of Cabal Canine Candids.
